The Symphonic Band is the premier instrumental performing ensemble at Deane Bozeman School.  Under the direction of Mr. Giovanni Pereira, the Symphonic Band has celebrated many achievements throughout its history. Some of these achievements include earning consistent Superior ratings at the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) District Music Performance Assessment (MPA), Straight Superior ratings at the FBA State MPA, and many other high quality performances throughout the southeast United States.  Students in this ensemble can expect to play a wide variety of advanced musical repertoire and are expected to demonstrate the highest level of musicianship skills.  

Students are also expected to audition for the Bay County All-County Band as well as other honor bands throughout the region.  These students are also highly encouraged to perform in the FBA District & State Solo & Ensemble MPA in the spring semester.
